Privacy Policy
Asher helps parents and guardians ask questions, plan the week and keep what matters about their family in one place. This policy explains what information Asher collects, how we use it, who can see it and the choices you have.
The short version: we don’t sell your information or use it for advertising. Your Private Ask chats aren’t visible to the other adult in your family. Asher asks before it first sends your information to our AI provider for a feature, and you can say no. Asher isn’t end-to-end encrypted, and this policy explains when our systems and people can access your content.
About this beta edition
Asher is in beta. This edition of our Privacy Policy describes Asher as it works during the beta. Some features we plan to offer are marked Not available yet. Those features aren’t part of the app yet, and Asher doesn’t collect the information they would use. Before we turn any of them on, we’ll update this policy and tell you in the app.
Not available yet: connecting a Gmail account, conversation memory, public links to Handbook cards, web searches and Plan with Asher outing ideas.
Who we are
Asher is provided by Household Labs, Inc., a Delaware corporation (“Asher,” “we” or “us”). This policy covers the Asher iPhone app and the services that support it. Our website is also covered by our Cookie notice.
Household Labs, Inc. · PMB 6050, 4000 MacArthur Blvd, Suite 600 East Tower, Newport Beach, CA 92660, United States · [email protected]
Information we collect
Most of what Asher holds is information you choose to give it. Some is created as you use the app, and some comes from services you decide to connect.
Account information
Your name, email address and sign-in details, your role in the family (such as Mom, Dad, Stepparent or Guardian), your confirmation that you’re an adult, and a record of which versions of our terms you accepted. If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive the basic profile information that service shares with us, such as your name and email address. Apple may share a private relay address instead of your email address. If you invite another adult, we collect their email address to send the invitation.
Family profiles
Details you add about the people in your family, such as preferred names and nicknames, relationships, ages or birthdays (for adults, pets and the Important People you add, the year is optional), an expected baby, pets, notes about each person, and the photo, emoji or initials and color you choose for a profile. You can also add the Important People in your children’s lives, such as grandparents or sitters. The other adult in your family can see a birthday you save, including the year if you add one.
Profile photos
You can add a photo to your own profile and to the profiles of your children, an expected baby, your pets and a co-parent who hasn’t joined Asher yet, by taking one or choosing one from your library. Important People don’t have photos. Asher removes location, camera and other hidden details from the photo before storing it, and keeps it in private storage. Only the adults in your family can see it.
Only you can change the photo on your own profile; the other adult can change only the color behind it. Either adult can change the photo on any other profile. Asher doesn’t scan or analyze photos or use face recognition. Profile photos aren’t sent to our AI provider, and they don’t appear in notifications, widgets or anything you share outside your family. Your data export includes them.
When you remove or replace a photo, or delete the profile, we delete the photo. When you delete your account, we delete the photo on your own profile. Photos you added to other profiles in a family you joined stay with that family until an adult removes them or the family is deleted. If you created the family, deleting your account deletes the family and all its photos.
What you create in Asher
- Private Ask chats and Family Chat messages, including Asher’s replies.
- Handbook cards and profile notes you review and save.
- Events, lists, reminders and other Plans details.
- Family details you add during setup, and preferences such as how you’d like Asher to speak to you.
Conversation memory
Not available yet. Asher doesn’t keep summaries of your conversations. When available, remembering relevant details between chats is part of AI help, not a separate switch. We’ll update this policy before making it available. Clear chat memory will let you remove remembered details without turning AI help off or deleting your saved Handbook and Plans.
Email you forward to Plans
Messages you forward to your family’s Plans Inbox address. See Email and the Plans Inbox. Connecting a Gmail account: Not available yet.
Calendars you connect
If you connect Google Calendar or allow access to Apple Calendar on your iPhone, Asher reads events from the calendars you select, within a limited date range. These can include events that other people created, such as a school, a coach or an employer. When you confirm that an event should go to a connected calendar, Asher writes it there.
Places and location
Addresses and places you add to events or use for a search, and your current location when you choose a feature that uses it, such as Use current location or location sharing. See Location, maps and weather.
Voice input
You can speak a message in Ask and Family Chat instead of typing it. Your iPhone turns your speech into text on the device, and Asher receives only the text. Asher doesn’t record or keep audio, and there are no voice messages.
Scanned notes and forms
If you scan a note, flyer or form, or choose a photo or file, and tap Ask Asher about this, your iPhone reads the text and shows it to you first. Asher keeps only the text you check, encrypted, for up to 24 hours, and never the photo. That text goes to our AI provider, OpenAI, with your question, for Asher’s safety check and to write the answer, and Asher can use it again for follow-up questions in that chat. In a private chat, the other adult can’t see it. It’s removed when you discard the scan, after 24 hours, when you leave the family, or when you delete your account. Asher’s replies stay in the chat.
You can also scan or choose a photo or file in Plans or the Handbook, or share text or a link to Asher from another app. Asher keeps that text the same way and works with it using its own rules, not our AI provider, unless you tap Ask Asher about this.
Subscription information
Apple processes payments for subscriptions bought in the app. We and our subscription-management provider receive your subscription status and transaction identifiers. We don’t receive your full card number.
Device, usage and diagnostic information
Notification tokens for your device, your notification preferences, content-free usage events, usage-allowance information and crash reports. See Analytics and diagnostics.
Your AI-help choice
A record of whether you turned AI help on or off, the features included, and which version of the notice you reviewed. These permission records do not include your messages.
Support requests and reports
Messages you send to support and reports you submit about a response or a Handbook note.
Children’s information
Asher is for adults 18 and older. It isn’t directed to children. Children don’t have their own accounts or sign-in, and aren’t meant to use Asher directly.
Parents and guardians can add information about their children, such as names, ages or birthdays and notes, so Asher’s help fits their family. We treat this information as sensitive:
- We use it only to provide Asher to your family. We never use it for advertising, and we don’t sell it.
- You can view, edit, export and delete it at any time.
- Asher doesn’t require children’s photos. If you add a profile photo for your child, it’s handled as described in Profile photos. Asher doesn’t ask for voice recordings, biometric information, school or government identification numbers or medical records. Children don’t share their location in Asher. If you choose to write a detail such as an allergy into a note, you can edit or delete it.
- Asher can use what you’ve shared to shape an answer in the moment, but it’s designed not to save diagnoses, risk labels or other sensitive conclusions about your child or family. What it keeps is what you’ve shared or saved.
Emails and calendars often mention other people’s children, for example in a class roster or team list. Asher uses those details only as needed to find your family’s plans. It doesn’t create profiles or Handbook records about children outside your family.
If we learn that a child is using an adult’s account, we’ll restrict that use, let the account owner know, and delete information the child submitted unless we’re required to keep it. If you believe this has happened, email [email protected].
How we use information
- To provide Asher. Answer your questions, keep your Handbook and Plans, send reminders, digests and notifications you’ve turned on, and keep connected calendars in step.
- To tailor Asher to your family. Mainly from what you’ve saved: your Handbook, family profiles and preferences, and your family’s plans.
- To prepare plans. Prep checklists, reminder wording and the Plans digest draw on your saved plans and Handbook, details you give while planning, connected calendars, and maps and weather information. They don’t draw on your Private Ask chats or Family Chat conversations.
- To turn email into suggestions. Asher reads email you forward to your Plans Inbox address only to find family plans for you to review.
- To operate safely. Prevent abuse, enforce usage limits, protect accounts and, in some conversations, show general safety resources. Asher processes content automatically to make the product work, but it doesn’t provide a professional judgment about you, your child or your situation, and it isn’t designed to monitor anyone for emergencies.
- To maintain and improve Asher. Fix problems and understand which features are used, mainly through content-free usage data and scrubbed crash reports.
- To communicate with you about your account, your subscription, support requests and changes to our policies.
- To meet legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
We don’t sell your personal information. We don’t use it for targeted advertising, and we don’t use your family’s content to train AI models.
What’s private and what’s shared
An Asher family has up to two adults. Some spaces belong to one adult; others are shared by both.
| Space | Who in your family can see it |
|---|---|
| Private Ask chats | Only you. |
| Family Chat | Both adults, including Asher’s replies. |
| Handbook and family profiles | Both adults, who can view and edit them. |
| Plans: events, lists and reminders | Both adults, including events from calendars either adult chooses to show in Plans. |
| Plans Inbox | Both adults. This includes email either adult forwards to your family’s Plans Inbox address. |
| Shared location | Both adults, only while the sharing adult has it turned on. |
| Your Settings controls, device lock and notification preferences | Only you. Family Chat names the adult who needs to turn on AI help before posting can resume; it does not show their permission history. |
When you save something from a Private Ask chat to the Handbook, or add it to Plans, the item you save becomes shared. The conversation it came from stays private. Asher doesn’t use your private chats to brief the other adult.
“Private” here means private from the other adult in your family. It doesn’t mean our systems can’t process it; see When our staff can access content.
Email and the Plans Inbox
Plans Inbox turns emails about your family’s plans, such as events, appointments, deadlines and to-dos, into suggestions you can review before anything is added to Plans. It’s optional.
Forwarding to your family’s Plans Inbox address
Each family gets a private address for forwarding. Only mail from trusted senders is processed; by default these are the email addresses of the adults in your family, and you can add or remove others. Mail from anyone else is dropped without its content being stored. You can replace the address at any time, which stops the old one immediately.
Asher reads each forwarded message and supported attachments, such as calendar files and PDFs, to find dates and details.
When you forward an email to Asher, or a sender you trust emails your Plans Inbox address, Asher first looks for dates and deadlines with its own rules. If that finds nothing, or clearly fewer than the email mentions, the email’s subject and text, and the text of any PDF attached to it, are sent to our AI provider, OpenAI, to find suggestions for you to review. This only happens for an adult who has turned on AI help. Our business terms with OpenAI do not allow it to train its models on your content, and OpenAI may keep requests for up to 30 days to check for abuse, then deletes them. Suggestions wait in your Plans Inbox until an adult adds them. Connecting Gmail is a separate feature and is not processed this way.
We keep the original message and attachments for up to 90 days, and the email excerpt and suggestions for up to 180 days.
Forwarded mail is shared in your family’s Plans Inbox. Both adults can see the sender, subject, date, attachment names and up to about 16 lines of text from the message and its attachments, plus any suggestions.
Suggestions wait for your review by default. Your family can turn on a setting that adds complete, clearly dated events from trusted senders automatically. It’s off unless either adult turns it on, and automatically added events can be edited or undone from the Inbox. Only events Asher’s own rules find are added this way; a suggestion that came from OpenAI always waits for you.
Connecting Gmail
Not available yet. Before we offer it, we’ll update this policy to explain what Asher reads, keeps and shares from a connected Gmail account, and the app will explain it before you connect.
Other people’s information in email
Emails often include details about other people, such as teachers, coaches, other parents and other children. Asher uses those details only as needed to understand your family’s plans and doesn’t build records about those people.
Google user data
Asher’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Asher receives Google data only when you sign in with Google or connect Google Calendar. When you sign in with Google, we receive basic profile information, such as your name and email address. When you connect Google Calendar, Asher can see the list of your calendars and reads events from the calendars you select. If you confirm that an event should be added to or changed on your Google Calendar, Asher writes that change.
- We use Google data only to provide and improve the features you can see: signing in, and showing and updating your connected calendars in Plans.
- We don’t use it for advertising, and we don’t sell it.
- We don’t transfer it to others, except: to the other adult in your family, who sees the events from calendars you choose to show in your family’s Plans; to service providers that help us provide those features, including our AI provider when your plans are part of a request you make (see AI features and your data); where required by law; or to protect security.
- We don’t use it to train generalized AI or machine-learning models.
- People at Asher don’t read it unless you give us permission for specific data, it’s needed to investigate security issues or abuse, it’s required by law, or it has been aggregated and anonymized for internal operations, as the Limited Use requirements allow.
- You can disconnect Google Calendar in Settings. We delete our access token right away and stop syncing. You can also remove Asher’s access in your Google account. Asher then can’t read or change your calendar, and we delete the stored token when you disconnect in Settings or the family is deleted. Events you created in Asher stay in Asher. To ask us to delete Google data Asher holds, email [email protected].
Location, maps and weather
Places on your events
When you add an address or place to an event, Asher sends it to a mapping provider to find the place, show a map and offer directions. If you tap Open in Maps, your iPhone’s maps app handles the rest.
Weather
To show a forecast, Asher sends a weather provider coordinates rounded to an area of roughly one kilometer, without names or an exact address. These coordinates still describe an approximate location.
Device permission and location sharing
Giving Asher location permission on your iPhone doesn’t turn on sharing with another adult. You can choose Use current location to select a place or search area without sharing a location pin. If you save that place on a shared plan, the other adult can see the plan’s location. You can also type a place or address without giving Asher access to your device’s location.
In the current app, Asher captures device location only while you’re using the app, after you choose a feature that needs it. Background location updates aren’t available.
Sharing your location
Sharing your location is off unless you turn it on from the Plans map. Before your iPhone asks for location permission for sharing, Asher explains what sharing does. It saves a snapshot when you start sharing or tap Update my location. Each snapshot is visible for up to one hour after capture; it doesn’t update as you move or renew automatically.
What the other adult can see. While you’re sharing, the other adult in your family can see your precise shared location as a pin on the family map, and how long ago you shared it. For upcoming events that have a location, they can also see your estimated travel time and when you’d need to leave.
To estimate travel time, Asher sends your shared location and the event’s location to a mapping provider. Tap Stop sharing to end access, and check that Asher confirms it has stopped. If the request fails or you’re offline, the last shared snapshot may remain visible until stopping succeeds or the snapshot expires. Turning off iPhone location permission prevents new captures; it doesn’t remove a snapshot already shared. Children don’t share their location in Asher.
The one-hour sharing limit controls visibility, not deletion from storage. A successful stop clears the active snapshot’s coordinates. Route calculations also store starting and destination coordinates alongside travel estimates. Expired snapshots and route records may remain stored until cleanup runs. See How long we keep information.
AI and other service providers
Like most apps, Asher relies on other companies to run. These are the service providers we use, what they do and the information involved.
| Company | What they do | Information involved |
|---|---|---|
| Supabase | Hosting, database, sign-in and file storage, in the United States | Account and family information you store in Asher |
| OpenAI | AI features: replies in Ask and Family Chat, safety checks, Handbook suggestions and notes, prep checklists, reminder wording, and reading forwarded email that Asher’s own rules can’t fully read | The messages and context needed for each request, as described in AI features and your data |
| Sign in with Google; Google Maps Platform (places, addresses, routes and weather); Google Calendar, if you connect it | Basic profile information if you sign in with Google, place searches and locations you choose for plans, rounded areas for weather, a shared adult’s location for travel-time estimates, and calendar events you choose to sync or add | |
| Apple | App Store, in-app purchases, Sign in with Apple and push notifications | Purchase records, sign-in details, device push tokens and notification text |
| RevenueCat | Subscription management | Purchase and subscription records, linked to a pseudonymous account ID |
| Expo | Push notification delivery, through Apple Push Notification service and Google Firebase Cloud Messaging | Device push tokens and notification text. Without previews, a notification says only what kind of update it is and, for an event, its day and time. You can turn on Show content previews, which adds event names, the name of the family member who sent a message and short chat excerpts. With previews on, birthday reminders also include the person’s name, the date and, for a child, the age they’re turning. |
| Resend | Sign-in, invitation and account email, and receiving mail forwarded to your Plans Inbox address | Email addresses and delivery details, and the messages you forward to Asher |
| Sentry | App error monitoring | Content-free technical error details |
| TelemetryDeck | Privacy-focused product analytics, hosted in the EU | Limited, content-free usage events |
| PredictHQ | Public local event listings for Plan with Asher outing ideas, which aren’t available yet | None during the beta. When available: the location and dates of the search and the types of events, with no names or other family details. |
| Cloudflare | Website hosting and security | Standard web request data, such as IP address and browser type, when you visit withasher.app |
We currently use OpenAI for AI features. We may also use Anthropic or Google (Gemini) to provide the same features, under the same protections. We’ll update this list when our providers change.
We require providers to use your information only to provide their services to us. We use AI providers under business terms, not consumer chatbot services, and those terms don’t allow them to train their models on your family’s content. Where a provider offers it, we choose the shortest data retention available.
One AI-help choice per adult. The app explains the provider and information involved before you agree. Your choice covers Ask, Handbook, Plans and requested help in Family Chat, including relevant saved family information. There are no separate saved-information or Family Chat switches. Not now cancels that attempt; it does not prevent joining your family or using available manual features.
Private Ask chats stay private. Family Chat opens once every adult has turned on AI help; one adult cannot turn it on for another. If you turn yours off, your new AI requests stop and Family Chat pauses for everyone. Earlier messages stay readable, but nobody can post until everyone has AI help on. Another adult’s private AI help and manual shared-record editing remain available. Once Family Chat is open, adults can post short notes to each other, and Asher replies only when addressed.
Turn on AI help opens one short review in place of the chat composer. If another adult needs to turn it on, Family Chat names them. Not now closes the review in one tap and saves no choice. Turning on does not send an old question. Turn AI help off in Settings; the review explains, “This also pauses Family Chat for your family.” Turning it off does not recall a request already sent to the provider or delete your saved information.
When chat memory is available, Asher may remember relevant details between chats under the same AI-help choice; it is not a separate switch. Gmail remains a separate connection. AI features and your data explains the information used by each feature.
Birthdays aren’t background context for Asher’s AI features. If you use Ask Asher for ideas on a birthday, Asher starts a private message with the person’s name, the date and, for a child, the age they’re turning. Our AI provider receives it only if you send it.
Web searches: Not available yet. Asher doesn’t search the web to answer questions during the beta.
When we share information
We share information only in these situations:
- With the other adult in your family, as described in What’s private and what’s shared.
- With calendars you connect, when you confirm an event should be added or changed there.
- With service providers, as described above.
- For legal and safety reasons. We may disclose information if we believe in good faith that the law or legal process requires it, or that it’s needed to protect someone from serious harm. We can’t promise absolute confidentiality.
- In a business transfer. If Household Labs is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, information may transfer as part of that transaction. We’ll notify you before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
- With your permission, for any other purpose you agree to.
Public links to Handbook cards: Not available yet.
We don’t sell personal information, and we don’t share it for targeted advertising.
How long we keep information
We keep information only as long as it’s useful to you or we have a specific need, such as security, billing or a legal requirement. When you delete something, it disappears from the app right away. We aim to remove it from our active systems within 30 days. Copies in our backups are removed as those backups expire, and we aim to keep backups for no more than about 35 days. We may keep information longer if the law requires it or it’s subject to a legal hold.
The table shows the longest we aim to keep each kind of information. Where we can, we keep things for less time.
| Information | How long we aim to keep it |
|---|---|
| Account, family profiles, Handbook and Plans | While your account is active, or until you delete them |
| Chats, including archived chats | While your account is active. See Export and deletion for what happens to them when you delete your account. |
| Text of a scanned note or form you check (the photo is never kept) | Up to 24 hours, encrypted. Removed sooner when you discard the scan, when you leave the family or when you delete your account. |
| Profile photos | Until the photo is removed or replaced, or the profile or family is deleted. Deleting your account deletes the photo on your own profile. |
| Forwarded emails and attachments | Up to 90 days after we receive them |
| Forwarded email excerpts and suggestions | Up to 180 days, or until you delete them |
| Shared location snapshots | Visible for up to one hour per snapshot, or until Stop sharing succeeds. A successful stop clears the active snapshot’s coordinates. Expired snapshots may remain stored until cleanup runs. |
| Travel-time and weather information | Cached records include route starting and destination coordinates. Expired records may remain stored until cleanup runs. |
| Unfinished sign-ups (a family that was never set up) | Up to 30 days without activity |
| Invitations | Invitation links expire after 14 days |
| AI request records (no message content) | Up to 90 days |
| Crash reports | Up to 90 days |
| Content-free usage analytics | Up to 24 months |
| Support requests and reports | Up to 24 months |
| Notification delivery records (no notification text) | Up to 24 months |
| Security, abuse-prevention and staff-access logs | Up to 24 months |
| Minimal records of urgent safety situations (no transcripts) | Up to 365 days |
| Data export downloads | Download link expires after 7 days |
| Proof that you confirmed you’re an adult and accepted our terms | Up to 6 years |
| Billing and tax records | Up to 7 years, where required |
Security
We protect your information with safeguards that include:
- Access controls that keep each family’s information separate from every other family’s.
- Encryption of data in transit and at rest.
- Encrypted, server-only storage for Google Calendar access tokens.
- Role-based staff access with audit logs (see below).
- An optional app lock using Face ID or your passcode, and hiding Asher’s content in the app switcher.
- Notifications that leave out names, event titles and message text by default; an event alert still says its day and time. If you turn on Show content previews in Settings, notifications can show event names, the name of the family member who sent a message and short message excerpts, and the Today’s plans widget can show the name of your family’s next event and whose birthday it is, with a child’s age. A list widget you add to your Home Screen shows the items on that list.
- Birthday reminders that are off until you turn them on. The person whose birthday it is isn’t reminded. With Show content previews off, a reminder says only that a family birthday is coming up. With it on, it includes the person’s name and the date and, for a child, the age they’re turning.
Asher is not end-to-end encrypted. No system is perfectly secure. If a security incident affects your information, we’ll notify you as the law requires.
Your controls and rights
In the app, you can:
- Edit or delete family profiles, Handbook cards and Plans.
- Archive and restore your Private Ask chats.
- Review, turn on or turn off AI help, including relevant saved information and requested help in Family Chat.
- Connect or disconnect calendars, and choose which calendars appear in Plans.
- Manage trusted senders, replace your Plans Inbox address and turn automatic adding on or off.
- Start or stop sharing your location.
- Choose notifications, turn content previews on or off, and turn on app lock.
- Add, change or remove profile photos.
- Request an export of your data or delete your account.
Your iPhone settings also let you control Asher’s access to location, notifications, the camera, the microphone and speech recognition, and Apple Calendar.
Your privacy rights
We give the same privacy rights to everyone who uses Asher in the United States, whatever state you live in. You can ask to:
- Know and access the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct information that’s inaccurate.
- Delete your personal information.
- Get a copy of your information in a portable format.
We don’t sell personal information or share it for targeted advertising, so there’s nothing to opt out of. You can use the controls in the app or email [email protected]. We’ll need to confirm your identity before acting on a request.
Appeals. If we deny your request, you can appeal by emailing [email protected] with “Appeal” in the subject line. We’ll respond within 45 days.
Authorized agents. Someone you authorize can make a request for you. We’ll ask for proof that you gave them permission, and we may ask you to confirm your identity with us directly.
We won’t treat you differently for using any of these rights.
Health details you add
Parents may add health-related details about their children, such as allergies. We use them only to provide the features you ask for, and we don’t sell them. You can edit or delete them at any time.
Export and deletion
Exporting your data
You can request an export in Settings. When it’s ready, you can download it through a secure link that expires after 7 days. Your export includes the shared family information you can access and your own private information. It never includes the other adult’s Private Ask chats.
Deleting your account
You can request account deletion in Settings. The app shows the status of your request.
- If you created the family, deleting your account deletes the family and its shared data. It also deletes the other adult’s Asher account and their private information in the family. Before you confirm, the app asks you to download any export either of you needs, so talk with the other adult first. Asher doesn’t currently support transferring the family to the other adult.
- If you joined a family by invitation, deleting your account removes your access and your private information. Things you added to shared spaces may stay with the family without your name attached.
If you created the family, deleting your account also disconnects every calendar connected in the family and deletes our access tokens. If you joined by invitation, deleting your account doesn’t yet disconnect a Google Calendar you connected, so disconnect it in Settings first. Deleting your account doesn’t cancel a subscription billed through Apple; manage that in your Apple account settings.
After deletion, we keep only limited records we need, such as proof that you confirmed you were an adult and accepted our terms, billing records and security logs, for the periods listed above.
When our staff can access content
Asher isn’t end-to-end encrypted. To answer your questions, use your Handbook and help with Plans, our systems need to process the content you create. We limit who can access it:
- Each family’s information is kept separate, and no other family can see it.
- Staff access depends on role, such as support, trust and safety, engineering or administration, and each role gets only the access it needs.
- Our support tools show limited, redacted information by default.
- Access to family content is an exception. It requires a reason, is logged and, for engineering troubleshooting, is limited in time.
- Records of urgent safety situations are limited to a small number of named reviewers.
- Google data follows the stricter rules in Google user data.
This means authorized Asher staff could, in limited and audited circumstances, access content you create, for example to help with a support request you send, investigate abuse or a security issue, fix a problem, or meet a legal obligation.
Analytics and diagnostics
Asher’s analytics are content-free. We record a short list of approved events, such as a feature being opened, with counts, times and a pseudonymous identifier. Analytics never include your chats, names, Handbook or Plans text, email content, email addresses, web addresses or advertising identifiers, and we don’t record your screen or sessions.
Crash reports help us fix problems. They’re scrubbed so they don’t include chat text, names, Handbook or Plans text or sensitive details.
Our website doesn’t use cookies for analytics or advertising. See our Cookie notice.
Where we operate
Asher is available in the United States. We store your information in the United States. Some service providers, such as our analytics provider, may process limited information outside the United States with appropriate safeguards.
Changes to this policy
We’ll update this policy when our practices change and change the date at the top. If a change materially affects how we use your information, we’ll tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. That includes turning on any feature this edition marks as not available yet.
